Allandale was Austin's first air-conditioned subdivision. Located in north central Austin, Allandale is located in ZIP codes 78756 and 78757. The neighborhood boundaries are Burnet Road to the east, Mopac Expressway to the west, Hancock Drive to the south and West Anderson Lane to the north. Funky Burnet Road is home to many of the best restaurants in town. Burnet is north Austin's answer to South Congress.
